Per fess nebuly Or and Azure, Issuant bedwise from sinister base a dexter gauntlet Argent detailed Sable Grasping two lightning flashes arching bendwise from between its fingers; all within a diminished border.
Attached above the disc a Yellow scroll edged with a narrow Black Border and inscribed "43D COMMUNICATIONS SQ" in Black letters.
Attached below the disc a yellow scroll edged with a narrow black border and inscribed "CONNECTING WAR FIGHTERS" in black letters.


Significance

Blue and yellow are the Air Force colors. Blue alludes to the sky, the primary theater of Air Force operations. Yellow refers to the sun and the excellence required of Air Force personnel. The nebuly division suggests cohesive interlocking of personnel with the mission. It also connotes the unit's relationship to the parent Wing. The gauntlet represents the Squadron's ability to grasp methods of global communications mission. The lightning flashes symbolize the bold strength provided through information relay.
