Emblem: Approved 15 Apr 82

Description: On a blue disc edged with a narrow black border, issuing from sinister base and arced towards dexter fess a yellow lightning bolt garnished sable terminating below three red flight symbols ascending bendwise one and two; in the top of the disc to sinister a white four pointed star detailed black; below the lightning bolt a brown scorpion detailed black. Two scrolls are blue edged in black with yellow letters. The lower scroll contains the motto; The upper scroll contains the unit designation.

Significance: Blue and yellow are the Air Force colors. Blue alludes to the sky, the primary theater of Air Force operations. Yellow refers to the sun and the excellence required of Air Force personnel. The lightning bolt symbolizes worldwide electronic communications. The north star symbolizes navigational aids operated and maintained by the squadron. White depicts the unit's goal of perfection. Black stands for the sophistication of the equipment used to accomplish that mission. The three polyhedrons represent the supported flying mission and symbolize teamwork and cooperation. Red represents our people's passion and zeal to support our customers. The scorpion symbolizes the squadron's ability to react quickly and to assume a wartime posture to defend our homeland. Brown refers to the earth and the ground based equipment used in accomplishing the mission.
