Now that I have posted over 600 new pictures in the Air Force, Marines and Navy sections, I will now be moving on to the Civil War area.  I have left this area go too long and it is about time I get it updated. 

I have been taking pictures of the grave stones of the men that fought during the Civil War for about 2 years now, and I have been adding them to my site.  I really don't have a large collection.  But just recently, I have been receiving pictures from different sources.  Mostly 2-3 a month.  Within the last couple of months, I have been receiving  larger amounts of pictures.  Many people have been sending me e-mails wanting to know if I could use pictures from different cemeteries.  I have received quite a large number of pictures from a couple by the name of Fred & Jennifer Mars who has sent me pictures of the Confederates that are buried in Arlington National Cemetery.  They mentioned they were there during the middle of 2006 for a few months.

If anyone else would like to donate pictures, please let me know.  I would really like to add them.  When submitting the pictures, please make sure that the individual's name is added along with their unit that they served with.  Plus if you have any other information about the individual, please send it.  I will add your name as being the submitter if it's ok with you.

You will notice that you cannot get through to some records for the North section on the Civil War site. I am cleaning it up and adding a lot of new information that I received.  I will be adding a lot during the next month or so.  I will be working on the "North" first so access will be very limited there.  I will be adding the states when I clean them up and finish adding information.  The "South" is open but will be closing once the "North" is done.  This will take a while.

A little request.  When you submit any information for me to add to the Civil War section, please submit the state and whether the state you are submitting for is from the North or South.  This will help me greatly.
